iGrok has staked a claim as the Image Understanding Company, and is presently focused on medical image time-series analysis.
Other companies have developed medical imaging products, such as CAD systems (Computer-Aided Diagnostics), that use forms of pattern recognition
to scan through images to detect telltale signs of disease processes. The intellectual property upon which iGrok’s products are based is more
holistic in nature – starting from recognition of basic morphology to determine what part of the body is represented, and working down through
individual anatomical structures to achieve a more complete understanding of what the images truly represent.
